My last post!!

Hello,

It is me again; this will be my last post.

The experience was very satisfactory, I met very nice people and thanks to that this course was more enjoyable. English has never been my strong point, I started this course with high deficiencies in the language but I’m finishing it with high improvements and with more confidence than at the beginning.

I think writing skills are the most difficult, but I have improved compared to the beginning as well as speech, listening and reading comprehension. I would like to improve my writing even more and I think it is necessary to have more classes in which all the classmates interact.

At first I didn’t like the idea of writing a blog but I learned that it is a good way to know more about my classmates and improve skills, when I write on the blog I like much more to write about free topics, I feel a little limited when the teacher tells us about what we should talk about. I think it's a good idea to have more "Free Post".

This was a very nice experience, I’m very grateful to my classmates and the teacher and I hope that we will see each other in English 4°.

My favourite subject this semester

Hello, in this post I will talk about my favorite subject this semester.
One of my favorite subjects was my nucleus “Complex territorial systems”, but as I have already told you about it before, I decided that this time I would tell you about another of the subjects of this semester, the name is “Comparative analysis of social policies”, in these classes we discussed and analysis the social policies in Chile and Latinoamerica.
In the class through examples we analyze some cases of social policies, their interventions in the population, their results and even their failures.
The main contents were:
- Different approaches to social policies.
- The principal- agent theory
- Focus
- Role of coordination
- Intersectoriality
- The challenges of social policies
… Among other contents.
I really liked this subject because social policies have been studied for other semesters and they have never been easy to learn, instead this time it was much more didactic.
I think it was thanks to the teacher and her teaching method, since class to class we were analyzing cases of policies that were really made in Chile and Latin America.
I'm sure this time I learned about social policies.

Music, TV and language ... my little distraction

My story begins in 2012, when I heard a Korean group called Shinee, at that time I didn’t consider it important but that's how my interest in Korean culture began.

It didn’t take long when I was already listening to many songs in Korean, watching K-dramas, Korean shows and I wanted to know more about them...

The k-pop was my method to distract myself and enjoy my youth, I like to dance k-pop, I love k-dramas and when I'm bored I start watching any Korean program.

My interest in Korean culture influenced my decision to study in 2015 a course on "Korean language and culture", a course that I pay myself, with a university scholarship that I got.

When it’s started to like, I didn't know how much I would enjoy this. Currently I have attended more than 15 k-pop concerts and I have more than 630 Korean songs.

I've been listening to k-pop for 6 years and I've enjoyed a lot of things because of that, but I've learned something about Korean culture in these years, people in Korea have a very competitive and stressful life, because they tend to give a lot of importance to what others think of you.

I'm sure I would never live there, even though it's still my little distraction...

My favorite Web site

Soompi is a website about of Korean pop culture. It has one of the largest international Internet community for K-pop, with more than 22 million fans across all platforms, Soompi offers English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Thai services.

The global headquarters is in San Francisco of United States and the Korean offices are in Seoul of South Korea. Soompi was founded in 1998 by Korean American web developer Susan Kang, the site quickly gained traction with fans throughout the world.

Since its establishment in the late 1990s, Soompi has grown into an authoritative source for Korean popular culture, and is one of the longest-running, and most frequently visited websites providing coverage of K-pop music. The Spanish version was created in 2012 and it works closely with major Korean entertainment agencies.

On the website we can find news, forums, chat, quiz and any information about Korean pop culture.   
I visit the web site twice a day because I really like know about actual Korean pop music and Korean tv programs and also it entertains me in my leisure.

A beloved photograph

I love photos, memory is fragile and a way to preserve memories is through photography. And even though I have many favorite photos, there is one that I love, one where we are mom and me.

And it doesn't mean that I don't love my dad or my brothers and sister, I feel that this photo represents family love, unconditional love.

It was taken in February 1997 in Los Vilos, I was almost two years old and the photographer was my dad. It was in the summer holidays and there was the whole family. Currently the photograph is in the family album but I took a photo of the photo so I could always have it with me.

I think I have said it before but in my family we are all very close, that is why I feel that this photo doesn't represent only the love that my mother and I feel, I believe it represents the love that we as a family have.

After a while...

Hi,

         I'm Ari reporting again, after a while.

It's been almost 3 months since my last publication and in college things have been very moving, but to be honest my life is still as monotonous.

During these 3 months I continued to attend the university regularly, I am already in my fourth year so I had to constantly attend my nucleus "Sistemas Territoriales Complejos", which despite the pressure is a nice experience.

Although the situation in my home is a bit different, the economic problems have affected the family harmony, unfortunately the discussions have increased. But I don’t lose hope that everything will turn out well. Being together is the greatest strength.

And remember that…  

Always fight for what you believe is right.

My Career

When i was a child my dream was to be dancer because i really love dancing, but when I applied to university i didn't know what to study, and registered in social science and humanities bachelor in Universidad de Chile. When i had to decide what career to continue i felt that social work could be one option and had taken the opportunity to learn about this. 

The social work in the Universidad de Chile is a career with a critical vision about the social reality and the social interventions and this convinced me, I graduated from Social science and humanities bachelor and i decided that social work was my thing. 

I think that i'm a typical student of university an i love it, i meet lots of interesting people and i had good friends. In the university not only learn about my profession, i learn too about the lives.

In the future i imagine myself travelling around the world  and fighting for the increase of social rights.

This is me

Hello my name is Ankari & it’s my first time in that kind of blog, so I will present myself. I’m a typical student of university, I have 22 years old and I born in May 14 of 1995 in a really beautiful weekend. I live In Santiago with my parents, sister, brother and my really pretty dogs. I student social work in the Universidad de Chile, and this semester I will finish my 8° semester in the career.

I’m a lassie person and i don’t like practicing sport in my free times, sometimes I go to the pool to swimming but it’s not my favorite activity to do in a Monday at 8 Am, I prefer sleep and listen music when I drink a hot chocolate.

My hobbies are listen music, take photographic, dance, skate and look up the beautiful blooming landscape. If you want to give me something, I can accept only tickets to travel around the world. 

 I love enjoy the little moment in the wonderful life calling happiness...
